Trillium Lutheran Church

Trillium belongs to the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada, which confesses the ecumenical creeds and the Augsburg Confession. The congregation describes itself as a Reconciling in Christ congregation, welcoming people of all sexual orientations, gender identities and gender expressions to participate fully in its life together.

Trillium Lutheran Church meets on Willow Street, a block east of uptown Waterloo. It is one of the newer Lutheran congregations in the city by name and one of the older ones by descent: it was formed in 2018 when three existing Lutheran congregations amalgamated, and it belongs to the Eastern Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada.

Worship is on Sunday mornings at half past ten, in person and online. The congregation is a Reconciling in Christ congregation, a designation within the ELCIC for congregations that publicly welcome people of all sexual orientations and gender identities.
